Telework

Working from home can benefit employees and employers in many ways. It creates a work-life balance, increases productivity, reduces stress among many other advantages.

Find Telework Resources on our Twin Cities Telework Website

Commuter Services has a history of promoting telework as an alternative to driving alone to work, and we’ve produced so many resources over the years, one page on our website just isn’t enough!

That’s why we’ve created Twin Cities Telework by Commuter Services, our one-stop shop for all things telework. Visit the TC Telework website to find resources for teleworkers, best practices and policy guidance for employers and managers, and educational webinars for all.

Teleworkers will find resources for:

  •  Tips on how to succeed in a remote work arrangement
  • Advice for maintaining your mental health while teleworking
  • Recommendations for maximizing your well-being
  • Suggestions for setting up an ergonomic-friendly workspace

Employers and managers can find:

  • Sample templates of telework and hybrid policies, teleworker agreements, and daily work logs
  • Recommendations for manager success and communication
  • Guidelines for home office safety and ergonomics
  • Information on how to best utilize telework
  • Tips for setting up a successful telework or hybrid arrangement

We’re developing new resources on an ongoing basis, so check back often.

And while you’re there, be sure to sign up for our Twin Cities Telework newsletter. This online publication features upcoming webinars, new resources that are responsive to current telework trends, advice for teleworkers and managers, and more.

Comment quotes

While teleworking during the past five years, I have experienced increased job satisfaction, increased productivity, and I enjoy a better and more manageable work-life balance that has increased my happiness and outlook on the work week.

By reducing my commute to the office to only two days per week, I enjoy reduced car expenses and have found that my remote work schedule allows me to be more intentional about the time I take during the week to run errands. I plan shopping trips to coincide with days that I am commuting to the office for work, which reduces my carbon footprint.
