Commuter Services partners with the Minnesota Department of Transportation in another webinar Detours Ahead: I-494 Construction Updates. Learn what has been done, and what is yet to come, in the 2024 construction season.

 

MnDOT I-494 Edina, Bloomington, Richfield Project Manager Tim Clyne will give a recap of the major improvements started, and in some cases completed, during the past six months of construction, including:

• I-494 / I-35W Roadway & Bridge Construction
• Ramp Reconstruction & Realignment
• Retaining Wall, Noise Wall, & Drainage Construction
• Local Roadway & Utility Work
• Bicycle & Pedestrian Facilities

 

With construction for this project expected to continue through 2026, Clyne will also preview the next two seasons, and provide a high-level update on the neighboring I-494 Bridge over Minnesota River project, from Pilot Knob in Eagan west to near the MSP International Airport.

 

Commuter Services will follow with a brief look at the free resources available to help ease the impacts of traveling in construction traffic.
